The Kinderkunsthaus is an open art workshop for all generations, where children can experiment with traditional and modern techniques of art and creativity in a self-determined way.

About us:

If you want to be active artistically in Munich the Kinderkunsthaus is the perfect address. In a relaxed atmosphere and without pressure children and their parents or chaperons can work in our professionally equipped workshop and try out various creative techniques. We want all children regardless of their social or financial background to be able to participate in our program. As a non-profit institution we therefore have low admission fees and patronage projects which we realize with social initiatives in Munich.

Refugees WELCOME!

Kinderkunsthaus Munich has been offering free admission to refugees since the beginning of 2015. We cooperate with charitable organisations like Innere Mission, Arbeiterwohlfahrt, the society „Perspektive jugendliche Flüchtlinge e.V., Caritas, and many more. Children and adolescents from various countries are visiting us in the group programs, spending carefree and creative hours in our workshop. Those hours have been very rewarding and valuable for our team, too.

We are looking forward to welcome refugee children and families accompanied by volunteer partners in our open program in the future and grant them free admission.

We are in the course of expanding our commitment for refugees together with our initiator mixtvision Mediengesellschaft in Munich sustainably and in the long term. Starting now we will report about our activities through our communication channels.
