The German School System: Staying afloat and going ashore with success in Munich

This workshop is for expatriate parents living in Munich whose children attend or will attend a public German School.

The school system in Germany offers many opportunities if you know how to navigate your way through it.

How is it structured and what does it offer? How can you help your child in his educational journey, understand the challenges and stumbling blocks he will encounter?

How do you support your child finding his personal recipe for meaningful and successful development within the opportunities the German School system offers?

This workshop provides an overview of the local school system and deals with the special aspects that can be puzzling to newcomers. Especially the multiple paths leading to different degrees will be explained. It also offers a glimpse to the background of the German educational system which is closely related to the German culture.

Inspiring and highly informative workshop for local international parents.
